| I have the privilege of knowing quite a few Russian women. Some of them are professionals, some of them not. I know only one of them is happily married , and that is the one married to a Russian husband, before they came to the USA. They all (except this one) admit that their lives are miserable. Many of them may not go anywhere without their husbands. They may, to a point buy more or less what they want, but only when their husbands go shopping with them and pay for it. They may not have any money of their own. I tell you this to ask you to please be careful with the information these ladies give you, and be honest with them. Most American men (I do not say all) look abroad for wives because they cannot successfully find one here - that usually has reasons. Many of them are abusive with their wives. They do not show this as they come looking, but it surfaces once the women are dependent on them in a foreign country - in these cases, the USA. Tina Laubli PS, the three most beautiful Russians I know are my adopted daughters. |
