| I dumped four more Russian ladies from my e-mail this week. Since 2000, I have yet to find ONE of these creatures who was not angling for a cash payoff. The letters start out nice, but as soon as they get your confidence, here comes the sob story...the pre written letters, multiple identities, and enough lies and distortions to fill a New York City telephone book. In my opinion, it doesn't matter how nice these agencies are. The entire premise is flawed because it seems that Russian women are dishonest gold diggers and petty criminals. Life has much more meaning than how much money you spend on a woman. Too bad these Russian women lack the ability to understand that. All men out there...BEWARE! |

| In response to "Gregs" recent posting:I recently visited Odessa, Ukraine and offer the following:I think that actual "happy endings" resulting from corresponding with eastern european ladies are probably quite infrequent relative to the number of guys who write letters.My visit to Odessa was disappointing, but that was largely my fault.Guys, unless your girl can speak your language, the language barrier is very real. Trading letters in English from our homes, it's easy to dismiss the little detail that there is an interpreter in the middle. Based upon my experience, by traveling there, I overcame the geographical barrier only to faced with the reality that the language barrier is very real. You can't wish that barrier away. To get around that barrier you need an interpreter and they are expensive. I paid $15USD per hour and longed to just talk this girl without an interpreter. (As a somewhat private (shy) person, using an interpreter just didn't work for me)Guys, if you're serious in your efforts, then be patient and correspond with your girl long enough to really get to know her. (I got impatient)While you're corresponding, LEARN HER LANUAGE. That will be time, energy and effort very wisely invested.I returned home inspired and motivated to learn Russian. Sure, the premise is that "your girl" will ultimately move to your country and learn your language. Sirs, I have been readibg a few of the comments that have been posted in here. Some are very negative. I would like to see some sucess stories posted. I think if men could actually see that this site has worked for other men it will give them more confidence. I have written to several women and for the most part they seem quite genuine. I have not been able to make the long trip to meet any women. For one thing it is expensive to make such trip both in terms of money and time. Perhaps you could request that some of the people that made the trip there to post thier expriences, and it would be especially nice to hear from both the men and women that have met thier spouse through this site.
