If you want to find a decent woman may I suggest that the money would be better spent going out somewhere and make our primary goal to enjoy life regardless of whether you find a girl or not. Girls are more likely to be attracted to you if you appear to be enjoying yourself. But even if you don't find a girl I still think it will be better value for money as for the same amount you spend at this place you can really enjoy many more social gatherings. | Actually guys, my experience from Nov06 to Nov07 was like yours. I went to Odessa in Feb07 and met a girl, but no sparks. In Nov07 I had purchased flight and rail tickets to meet another girl. She disappeared 5 days before my flight (sound familiar?) I decided to go anyway to a major city. I utilized a small agency who knows their girls and just met some nice ones. I "picked" one early and spent 12 days with her. It was great, she was great. I went back in Feb08 and gave her a sparkly thing. USC&I approved visa petition 4 months earlier than expected. The quality of the broker (agency) makes all the difference in meeting sincere girls.

I commend you for just going there and meeting a serious girl with good intentions. I hope it will work out for you and you will have a great life with your lady.Unfortunely most of us (like me) have had Irv's experience with this not yours. Women who promise you they want love and a relationship but ultimatly are nothing more than liars out for money and a man who will pamper them in luxury for the rest of their lives. I've been there and done that just like Irv. I've had the same experiences and I will never do it again. Finding a serious girl in the agencies is like walking through a minefield and trying to find a needle in a haystack. Next to impossible. My advice to guys starting out in this process is when you talk to a woman look for ANYTHING that may tip you off that she is not sincere and is just out for money. Even the smallest of things can be clues, and trust what your instincts say about her if you suspect something is off. You will save yourselves a lot of pain and heartache and an empty bank account later on.

| I feel so bad for everybody caught up in this two act tragedy. First, the pathetic gentlemen posting their e-mails in this guestbook, hoping to bypass the system which is rigged against them. You will remain along, unless some scammer catches your addy, in which case you will have other problems.Second, for all the gentlemen participating in this Russian woman scam. Face it guys...your intentions are golden and filled with good wishes, but the few Russian ladies that are actually looking for a foreign man will never settle for you. Without exception, they want the playboy lifestyle...fast cars, lots of money...prurient and vulgar sexual practices. Ever notice how many seek a "generous" man? Take a penny and buy a clue. Perhaps, then, you will understand.In my personal and very painful, experienced opinion, the Russian woman game is hopeless. They lead you on, tell you one lie after another, beg for money, and when they feel they have hit the wall with you, they disappear without a trace. It has just happened to me, AGAIN. One of these days, I'm going to get smart.I hope all of us find our mates somewhere while we can still appreciate and enjoy them. Searching among Russian women, however, is nothing but a cruel waste of time and money.

| I absolutely agree with Anoton and Mondelo. This whole exercise is frustrating and draining on your pockets and emotions! It is disillusioning at best! You don’t know who your competitors are, and asking the lady would only irritate or offend her! These ladies have sentiment, if not anything else. But they would even tell you they would like for you to send them gifts. Is that a red flag, you think? Still I keep on hoping for the best!Question: Does anyone here have any experience having a personal meeting with a lady in a third country (neither your own country nor the lady's)? If yes, how did that go? Do you think if the lady insists on that, it's an indicator of anything good or bad? Of course, assuming she hasn't asked for any monetary help, because in the latter case I'd seriously doubt her intentions, since I've had those experiences before and am done with that.

You can exchange phone numbers and postal addresses through letters sent via our web-site, no emails are allowed. As for the photocopy of the passport, local agencies check it, and we also ask to provide copies for some girls. But we will not share the photocopy with the men. If you have doubts about lady's existence, we would advise you to ask the lady to send her photos with friends and family; or order asmall gift with photo on delivery.

| On my first letter to a lady, I told her I was on my way to Ukraine on the 7th of February and I asked if I can go see her. She said she will meet me at the airport and will rent an apartment for me. How cool is that?I am going and I have two back ups. Stay tuned. I will tell you my results at the end of February.

| I am happily engaged to a beautiful and sincere young mother. She is exactly what I had hoped to find. She is from Ukraine, but I did not find her using "AOB". I used a smaller agency in a major city. She adores me, and I her. It's wonderful. I go to see her again in mid February. She'll have her visa mid to late summer 2008. I think it is interesting that to have so many clients, AOB has so few "successful" testimonials.

| Anoton is right, the competition to get these girls is fierce. It is like a bunch of wild dogs fighting over a steak. It totally stinks when you talk to a woman and you really like her and think she really likes you too, but she ends up ditching you like you we're yesterday's newspaper without any warning or only wishes to be your penpal because she is writing 50 other men too. My favourite thing on this site too is you are talking to someone and you think she really is into you then she shows up on the Top 100 out of the blue because she (or the agency) has sent out her intro letter to every guy on the site. It sure makes you feel good doesn't it? I've gone through it so much that I've gotten totally disillusioned with the whole thing. You realize no matter how hard you try or no matter what you do you will never be special to these women because there is always some other "better" guy (younger, better looking, more money than you etc.) ready to step in and take your place.
